Why is my fund transfer from my Central Bank of India or SBI account failing?
If you're transferring funds from a Central Bank of India or SBI account and it keeps failing despite entering the right details, here's what might be going on.
Some banks require a few leading zeros to be added before your account number at the backend. This is usually handled automatically when you add your bank account with us. But occasionally, this doesn't happen correctly, and that missing zero is enough to cause your fund add request to fail.
But this is easy to fix. You'll just need to get your bank account details modified with the correct leading zeros added. Simply reach out to our customer support team, and they'll guide you through the modification process so your transfers go through smoothly going forward.
Alternatively, you can also add a new bank account and initiate transfer from there on your own using the ArihantPlus app. Here’s how to do it
- Open the ArihantPlus app and login
- Go to My Account by clicking on green button on top right with your initials
- Tap on Bank Details > then tap Edit on top
- A new page will open on your app, tap on Bank Account
- Click the Add New Bank button at bottom
- Add bank via UPI (its faster)
- Follow the instructions on the screen
