What is a ‘gold investment’?
Gold investment means buying gold not just for personal use or jewellery, but as a financial asset to preserve wealth, hedge against inflation, and diversify your portfolio.
You can invest in gold in multiple ways:
- Physical gold (jewelry, coins,bars)
- Gold exchange traded funds (ETFs)
- Gold mutual funds
- Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs)
In recent years, investors have increasingly preferred digital mode of investing in gold because it is safer, more transparent, and easier to buy and sell.
