Can funds be added and withdrawn from the minor account?

Yes, funds can be added to and withdrawn from a minor’s trading account, but with restrictions. These funds cannot be used to buy securities, as minors are not allowed to enter into trading contracts. The available funds in the account can only be utilized for permitted purposes such as paying transaction charges, transfer fees, demat account maintenance charges, and other applicable fees. The guardian is responsible for managing all fund movements until the minor attains majority and assumes control.
